We recently had the pleasure of working with the stunning Old Course Hotel on a bespoke collection of ceramics for their beautiful luxury Spa. Set in the heart of St Andrews, the hotel overlooks the famous West Sands Beach and is home to the legendary The Open Championship course.

For the spa restaurant, a collection of pieces from our white flecked range was chosen to work beautifully together. Our extra large petal bowls, white flecked serving platters and cereal bowls all sit so naturally alongside one another, all in those off-white tones with gentle flecks scattered across the surface that we love so much.

Alongside the existing pieces, we were asked to create a bespoke set of ramekins in two sizes. These were designed to complement the range perfectly, with subtle dimples across the surface and a softly defined edge. We wanted them to feel tactile and organic, but still refined enough for a luxury spa setting. 

Seeing them lined up fresh from the kiln in the studio was such a lovely moment.

To know our ceramics are now being used in such a stunning setting, with views across the sea and one of the most famous golf landscapes in the world, feels incredibly special. It is such a privilege to see our handmade pieces become part of a space like this.
