Hire Terms of Service

 A copy of these terms of service are sent alongwith the booking invoice. Payment of the invoice confirms you are in agreement of these terms.

Bookings
Please contact us via our email studio@everystory.co.uk to submit your booking request. Bookings are only final once payment is confirmed. Please allow a minimum of 3 months notice. We will of course try to accommodate shorter notice times if we can, however some items may not be available for hire.

Payment

We ask that the full amount is paid, as per the invoice terms, to confirm your hire booking or purchase of any bespoke/personalised items.

Hire Duration

Maximum loan time is 3 days unless otherwise agreed and the hire fee is only for one event.

Delivery and Collection

Please ensure we are able to access the location for delivery. The person accepting the delivery must be at the location at the time agreed. This can also be someone nominated by the hirer in advance. Items will be unpackaged by ourselves and left on
a table in an agreed safe area.

On collection, please ensure all items are collated onto a table in a safe area and someone is at the location to meet us. Please ensure there is no food residue on dinnerware or serveware before you put them back in the collection area.

Breakages/Loss/Theft

Any items which we are unable to collection for any reason including breakage, loss or theft, will be charged for at the full RRP.  Unfortunately, any damaged or broken items will be charged at the full RRP. Responsibilty for items is with the person named on the invoice unless otherwise agreed. We will require sufficient time to check and package each item, any damage will be highlighted before our departure.

Revisions/Cancellations

If you need to cancel or amend your booking please contact us as soon as possible. Each hire package is made to order so we will advise on a case by case basis. Any changes to items or date depend on availability. Cancellations within 12 weeks of the event may incur a charge. There may be a charge for Large/One-off vessels if these have already been made. These charges are applied at our distrection.Reductions of more than 5 items may be subject to an additional fee if these have already been made.

Bespoke Orders

Any orders which are custom-made or personalised are not classed as hire items and must be paid for in full. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds or exchanges on these items. However, please get in touch as soon as possible if you need to cancel or amend as we may be able to refund part of the cost, but this is at our discretion.

Handmade Ceramics

Please note that every item is individually made therefore each piece is unique and there may be slight natural variations.

Liability

Please handle ceramics with care, any damage or breakages can cause further injury or damage to property. We will not be held responsible for any injury or damage to persons or property however sustained, arising from any goods under hire. Once we have delivered the items the hirer will be responsible for making sure all items are displayed and fitted correctly and safely to prevent damage or injury. Please ensure any broken/damaged items are dealt with responsibly.

Samples

You can purchase pieces at full price which can be returned safely for a refund or deducted from the full invoice. If these items are not in stock we can make them for you, a short lead time will apply.

Prices

Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service, in any part, without notice at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

Our Environmental Promise

We care for our planet and strive to reduce our footprint. Therefore, we will make a donation to offset our carbon immissions for the delivery and collection of your hire order.
